The most made mistake from online poker players is that they call instead of folding the hand. In the long run it can save you alot of money when you just fold.
The poker players been led to believe by convention or habit that there are certain situations when they have to call. Generally these conventions are wrong.
Here is a list of 3 situations where poker players should fold instead of call.
1. Dont call the check raise.
When your online poker opponent checks and you dont have a super hand you can see the check as a sign of weakness, so you make a bet.Your opponent now raises you.
It’s tempting to call. After all, you might catch a miracle card and turn the tables on this brash check-raiser. Dont call just fold in most cases this is +EV in the end.
2. Calling the re-raise when not having a monster.
If you play alot of online poker you will bump into this situation more then once during a day of poker online. When you hit a T-T for example and you make a 3bet to the original better and you get a re-raise after this in most cases of poker online it’s better to fold.
3. Calling a late position steal raise.
If You call a late position blind stealing raise let it go. You dont have to call and get yourself in trouble. You get your chance to steal the blinds back later again in Poker online. Remember fold can be the key to victory in Poker.
